For starters, the player will need to defeat the first boss of the game to unlock this ability. Phalanx, the first boss, can be challenged very early on in the game. While players are pushed to defeat enemies before this battle to gain souls, they can’t be used until after the first boss is defeated. The best thing to do would be to b-line to the first boss and defeat it. Once this is done, players will need to speak to the Monumental and then the Maiden in Black. How To Level Up Fast in Demon’s Souls
Demon’s Souls can be a grind-y experience to level up since the moment the player dies, they lose everything they have collected and players will need to track back to collect it all. The best place to grind in the early game will be near the Shrine of Storms. Make sure you bring along a lot of Heavy Arrows for this. From here, make your way to the Ritual Path Archstone. Fall down and there will be a Reaper enemy that players can shoot with their arrows that drops lots of souls. Heavy Arrows will take out the Reaper much faster. Once this is done, head back to the Nexus to build your soul bank and repeat this process until players feel comfortable to move on.
Demon’s Souls is the first exclusive title to come to the PlayStation 5. The game defined an entire genre of games moving forward and set the standard for modern challenges ever since. New entries by different developers release every few years but each one takes inspiration from the original Demon’s Souls. The best time to try it out would be the new PlayStation 5 remake.
