Katee Sackoff, who just made her live-action Star Wars debut on The Mandalorian, wants Bo-Katan to interact with Ahsoka Tano on the show.
The Mandalorian‘s Bo-Katan actress Katee Sackhoff wants to interact with Ahsoka Tano on the show. Following the extremely positive reaction to season 1, The Mandalorian season 2 has finally gotten underway over the past few weeks, and fans largely seem pleased with the direction it’s going in. Titular bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Baby Yoda are still searching for someone to help the latter find a proper home, and over the course of three episodes, they’ve met a slew of new allies and creatures. They’ve even dipped into the deeper Star Wars mythology by nearly crossing paths with Boba Fett.

Last week’s episode, “Chapter 11: The Heiress”, saw the introduction of another larger Star Wars character: Bo-Katan Kryze. Sackhoff voiced Bo-Katan on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, and she was granted the opportunity to debut her in live-action form. The episode saw Bo-Katan leading two Mandalorians in her quest to reclaim the Darksaber and the throne of Mandalore, which put her into contact with Din. At the end of the episode, she gave him some vital information: The location of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), someone who can help Din find a home for Baby Yoda.
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sackhoff shared her hopes about Bo-Katan and Ahsoka meeting up within The Mandalorian. After all, the two characters know each other from the animated shows. Sackhoff was unable to say whether Bo-Katan and Ahsoka would definitely share scenes with each other, but she expressed her enthusiasm about the possibility. “I love the character from [Star Wars: The] Clone Wars and [Star Wars] Rebels so I would love to see her. There’s a lot of history with those two. There’s a lot of story there. There’s a lot of comradery and respect, but there’s also a lot of pain and distrust. So we’ll see what happens,” Sackhoff said.
It isn’t completely clear as to whether Sackoff will reappear in The Mandalorian season 2, though the actress hinted that Bo-Katan plays a pivotal part in the story. If she does pop up further down the line, it would be really incredible to see her appear alongside Ahsoka. As the two are animated characters making their live-action debuts in The Mandalorian, it would be a fun connection for fans familiar with Clone Wars and Rebels.
Ahsoka is poised to make her Mandalorian arrival in this week’s installment, though fans could find themselves waiting an additional episode if the show chooses to draw things out. Ahsoka is probably one of the most anticipated parts of The Mandalorian season 2, and fans have waited a long time to see her come to life. How long Ahsoka will stick around remains to be seen, but both she and Bo-Katan could very well end up being major players within the world of The Mandalorian. Fans will just have to tune in this week to see what happens.
