After Clare Crawley’s shocking exit, four guys were added for new Bachelorette Tayshia Adams. Meet new contestant Peter Giannikopoulos.
The Bachelorette season 16 is essentially having a do-over. Clare Crawley’s time on the show was shockingly cut short, when she got engaged to Dale Moss after only four episodes. Bachelor franchise alum Tayshia Adams was called upon to replace her. Tayshia had already appeared on both The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise. Hopefully, Tayshia will have better luck this time than she did on her previous seasons. She initially seemed to find love with John Paul Jones on Bachelor In Paradise, but the couple broke up shortly after the reunion.
While the 16 guys who were left over from Clare’s season stayed, four new cast members were also added. To give Tayshia the full experience, she will get the typical set of 20 to choose from. This also gives viewers who felt jilted by Clare’s episodes a fresh start to enjoy a more complete season of the show they love. Reality Steve was the first to report on the names of the guys coming aboard to compete for Tayshia’s heart. These new contestants include the 32 year old Peter Giannikopoulos.

The long running dating show actually won’t be Peter’s first time on reality TV. The real estate agent also appeared on an episode of the hit HGTV show House Hunters. His episode aired in December 2018, as part of the 156th season. Working for Berkshire Hathaway at the time, Peter helped a first-time buyer find her dream home in his hometown of Everett, Massachusetts. He posted about the reality TV experience on Instagram, saying that being on the show was a “dream” and how he was so stunned he initially thought it was a prank. The incredible amount of pride and love he has for his real estate career is obvious from his Instagram. Per his bio, he was 2019 Rookie of the Year at his current company, Douglas Elliman.
In addition to pictures promoting his work, there are also posts of his adorable dog Hercules, his envy-worthy travels, and his fitness. He also proudly displays his Greek heritage, with the Greek evil eye emoji in his Instagram bio and photos from a trip to Greece. However, the Northwestern alum also used the social media platform to recently announce some rather unfortunate news. Peter was diagnosed with COVID-19, and was so shocked by the news he got into a (thankfully minor) car accident.
While Peter recovers from his diagnosis and the accident, viewers will get to meet him and see how he does on the show. Tayshia recently revealed that she fell in love multiple times on The Bachelorette. Could Peter be one of them? Bachelor Nation will have to keep tuning in to this truly unprecedented season to find out!
