The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador were in some hot water with a defamation lawsuit. The whole issue started when Beador and Judge spoke on Heather McDonald’s podcast about Bellino’s business. Before suing the host, Bellino sued Beador and Judge for defamation and he had accused them of lying about his business being in trouble. Bellino who was married to Alexis Bellino who starred on season 5, believed that their comments ruined his reputation, though many fans would argue it was already ruined after he appeared on the show and treated his wife in a controlling manner. But news broke with People that Beador had won her case and was no longer in trouble.

The case first started back in 2018 but now the Orange County housewife can put the whole ordeal behind her. Not only has the case been dismissed but Beador was awarded with $137,340.25 for legal fees. She was seeking $220,000. The charges were dismissed because Beador had “protected speech.” The court also ruled that Bellino did not have enough evidence for damage. In a statement, the housewife said, “I am grateful and relieved because this has taken an emotional and financial toll on my family.” Bellino’s lawyers also released a statement saying the case had been closed but the case against Judge would be moving forward. The statement read, “We are disappointed with the court of appeal’s ruling as it pertains to Ms. Beador, but nevertheless pleased that the court at the same time ruled that Mr. Bellino’s defamation case against Ms. Beador’s co-defendant, Tamra Judge, should go forward.” Judge, who is no longer on the show’s comments from the podcast is still the center of her say as she claimed, “I have a theory. Everything, everything’s in her name. He’s going to go to jail. Yeah, he’s a shady motherf—er.”

Fans will recall that Judge opened up about her court ordeal during her last season telling the cameras that she was being drained of $300,000 and was worried she wouldn’t be able to put her kids through college. Fans will also recall that Kelly Dodd interjected her opinion and even called Bellino to offer help. Hopefully, Judge will have her case dismissed as well.
